KING OF PRUSSIA, USA: InterDigital Inc. announced that its patent holding subsidiaries have entered into a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-bearing patent license agreement with u-blox AG.
The agreement covers various products, including wireless modules for consumer electronics and machine-to-machine devices, designed to operate in accordance with 2G, 3G, and the 4G standards LTE and LTE-Advanced.
Based in Switzerland and with a global presence, u-blox is a leading fabless semiconductor provider of embedded positioning and wireless communication solutions for the consumer, industrial and automotive markets. The company offers a broad portfolio of GPS modules, chips, and software solutions together with wireless modules and solutions. u-blox is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange.
