INSIDE Secure plays leading role at WIMA NFC USA

WIMA NFC, SAN FRANCISCO, USA: INSIDE Secure, a leader in semiconductor solutions for secure transactions and digital identity, will play a prominent role at WIMA NFC USA, the leading global conference and exhibition dedicated to Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. In addition to being a Gold-level sponsor of the event, INSIDE executives will be featured in the plenary panel, participate in an interactive industry panel, and demonstrate NFC innovation in the exhibition demo area.

During WIMA NFC USA, Charles Walton, chief operating officer for INSIDE Secure, will address the NFC Plenary Keynote Session on Thursday, December 1 at 8:45 a.m. He will discuss "An Authentication Framework for Secure NFC Applications." Representatives from MasterCard, VIVOtech Inc., GSMA, and C-Sam will also participate in the plenary session.

Serra will provide INSIDE's perspective on "What Needs to be In Place for Takeoff"-a lively interactive expert panel on Thursday at 4:00 p.m. Serra will participate with representatives from NXP Semiconductors, UPM RFID, VIVOtech, Near Field Solutions Ltd., and Think&Go NFC.

Laurent Sanchez, vice president applications & ecosystems for INSIDE Secure presides on a jury that will judge entries in the WIMA NFC USA Best Sponsor NFC Application Contest. The contest features NFC applications submitted by conference sponsors, which will be judged for their business viability, innovation, and potential user experience. The jury will award gold, silver, and bronze prizes and conference attendees will vote for their favorite entry. Winners will be announced December 1, 2011.
