CommScope to showcase unified brand identity at CommunicAsia 2011 in Singapore

BANGALORE, INDIA: CommScope, Inc., a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, will showcase its new brand identity along with its full portfolio of innovative solutions for the wireless, broadband and enterprise markets during CommunicAsia 2011, held 21–24 June, 2011 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore.

This brand makeover is the first for CommScope following acquisitions of Avaya’s Connectivity Solutions division in 2003 and Andrew Corp. in 2007. With its new identity, CommScope marks a new phase in its corporate growth and brings its businesses serving the wireless, broadband and enterprise markets under one common brand.

“The new CommScope corporate identity tells a more unified story to customers in all the markets we serve,” said Navin Vohra, vice president, Wireless Sales, Asia Pacific, CommScope. “Our innovative infrastructure solutions for wired and wireless networks enable high-bandwidth voice, data, and video applications everywhere—at home, at work and on the go. Through every wave of technology evolution, CommScope helps people, businesses, and the world connect and evolve.”

With the growth of mobile data networks, the lines between enterprise and wide area networks are being blurred. CommScope’s re-branding reflects its commitment to providing end-to-end critical infrastructure solutions to customers how and where they are needed.

“This is an exciting time for us as we embark on a new chapter of growth as a company,” said Dr. Ispran Kandasamy, vice president, Enterprise Sales, Asia Pacific, CommScope. “As new applications and technologies roll out in Asia Pacific, there is an increasing demand for seamless and ubiquitous performance across all networks. With our expertise in wireless, broadband and enterprise, CommScope can help customers optimize and integrate networks with advanced solutions for performance tuning, ease of management and cost effectiveness.”
