Movial sees increased SI and design demand as operators, device and CE manufacturers launch competitive services and devices on Android

HELSINKI, FINLAND: Movial, the company that inspires rich and intuitive Internet experiences, announced that it is seeing increased interest in its SI (Systems Integration) and User Experience Design services as global operators, as well as device and CE (Consumer Electronics) manufacturers look to launch differentiated services and devices on Android.

The company also announced it is ramping up staffing in Taiwan to help meet its growing client demands.

“Android has been well received by the market and in some geographies it is becoming a sought-after consumer brand,” said Canalys senior analyst, Pete Cunningham. “It has rapidly become the platform to watch, and its growing volumes will help to entice developers, ensuring consumers have access to an increasingly rich and vibrant mobile content and application ecosystem.”

Movial’s Android Services are being tapped by operators and device and CE manufacturers around the world as they look to port value-added applications to Android and shorten their delivery time to market of highly usable and differentiated services and devices.

“Operators want to have their own unique services, not just Google’s services and device and CE manufacturers want to be able to launch competitive services and devices on Android,” said Tomi Rauste, president, Movial Creative Technologies.

“Movial has a proven track record in enabling innovative value added services on top of Android that go well beyond “vanilla.” Movial design experts partner with our customers’ engineering and marketing teams to deliver immediate competitive differentiators.”
